What we check in a set of insurance requirements
- •Required limits — per occurrence, aggregate, products/completed operations, and any umbrella or excess layer the agreement calls for.
- •Additional insured status, including whether ongoing operations alone is enough or completed operations must be included.
- •Waiver of subrogation on general liability, workers' compensation, and auto.
- •Primary and non-contributory wording, which many contracts require but most standard policies do not include by default.
- •Workers' compensation and employer's liability limits, including whether owners or officers can be excluded.
